Safety
Read this section in full before using the indoor station. It names the hazards posed by the system and the measures you take to avoid them.
DANGER:
Risk of electric shock to persons.
Consequences if disregarded: burns, damage to the device and malfunctions.
How to avoid the hazard:
- Comply with the VDE 0100 and VDE 0800 guidelines during installation (Germany).
- Before beginning any work, de-energise all live wires.
- Secure the switched-off wires against inadvertent reconnection.
- Use a measuring device to confirm the wires are de-energised.
- Cover any adjacent live or conductive components.
- Carry out all work and electrical connections in accordance with the national regulations of the country concerned.
Warning:
Hazard from improper work on the system.
Consequences if disregarded: electric shock, property damage and failure of the system.
How to avoid the hazard:
- Have assembly, installation, repairs and commissioning carried out only by qualified electricians.
- When working on systems with a 230 V AC mains connection, observe the safety requirements of DIN VDE 0100.
