Philosophy

Since over 30 years

1977:
The foundation of the company SKS as an individual enterprise by Sturmius Kinkel. Individual anti-vandalism doorstations were an important part of the SKS product portfolio from the very beginning. In addition to these, multiwire intercoms were produced.

In the course of time the SKS product portfolio were constantly extended. Now as always the timeless design and the functionality were an important point.

As of 1990:
The fall of the Berlin wall resulted in rehabilitation needs in the newly-formed german states. In consequence of the high flexibility in the production SKS can, in the past as well as in the present, customize the offers for the projects. The production of anti-vandalism doorstations was always a great importance. In combination with 2-wire audio-technique, projects with a big amount of apartments, were realized.

1993:
Christoph Kinkel joined thefamily business SKS

1996:
In due to expansion SKS moved to 56472 Hof / Westerwald

1999:
Claudia Kinkel joined the family business SKS

2001:
Foundation of the SKS-Kinkel Elektronik GmbH

2006:
Presentation of the new hands-free design series il vetro audio and video at the fair Light & Building in Frankfurt.

Design awards received:
reddot design award 2007, Design Plus, nominated for design award 2008

Due to expansion new warehouse in 56472 Hof/Westerwald

2007:
Claudia Kinkel takes over the managment together with Sturmius Kinkel.

Presentation of the hands-free design series il vetro COMFORT for the interior and outdoor area.
